Look At The Bigger Picture!

This simple comic strip speaks so real about us, somehow.

We pray, very faithfully for something, prolly everyday.

Days, months or even years.. time passes, but that something doesn't seem to take place like how we ought to see.

We think that God has given up on us. We concluded that He has forgotten our little prayers. We get angry at Him. We think that He loves us no more. We felt like giving up on Him, on the same-old-routine-prayers. Especially when things are not working right, things seems to be coming against us, not the same flow as us. Maybe some of us even start to doubt if He's for real.

But how many of us actually realise that in the end, God always choose to give us the best? He doesn't want to give us the insignificant-inferior-petty-stuff that we prayed so much for (things we think super good dy), He wants to give you even more!

For example, you prayed so much for a mobile phone.

A nokia 3310 is more than enough for you. You think it's just a small request and surely it's a no problem thingy for God. But He kept you waiting... He said nothing but wait..

1 year..

2 years...

Then you get a N95 instead. Isn't He good? God's intension was not to give you an okay-la-it's-enough-for-me kinda thingy. He wants to give you the best. A mobile phone that works like your computer built-in with 5 Mega Pixel Camera. He's a canggih-ed God. He kept you waiting because the designer of this phone hasn't received the revelation from Him yet, to design this phone.

He heard us and will give everything we ask for, in His own way and His own perfect timing. He's not a selfish God, He's the God of abundance! He's the El-Shaddai! He's the Provider!

We tend to look at the small picture because we're of the world. Only if we set our hearts to look beyond all these, looking at it from a different angle, through God's eyes. We will be able to see the continuous shower of blessings and favours upon our lives. Therefore..

ALWAYS LOOK AT THE BIGGER PICTURE!

This something could be a relationship, finances, health, studies or prolly salvation for your love ones. Just anything. Whatever you pray for, do not give up. Jesus is the bigger picture, He wants to give you EVERYTHING you pray for. It's His promise in Matthew 21:22 (Click here to read the verse)
