Awesome.

I remember counting down the days of my part time with Sue-Li just that day. And without realizing, it's over. It. is. over! (Finally!)

These are some of the food we had (for lunch) throughout our part time days.

Clockwise -- tomyam (thumbs up!) | black pepper chicken chop | sharkfin noodle | nasi lemak ayam kapitan.

They are yummy and irresistible (especially the tomyam!) . That explains the extra bulge on my lower abdomen.

I usually dread my Mondays.

But this week's Monday isn't the case. I enjoyed it. I enjoyed the entire week. Now I believe the power of proclamation.

Well, nothing can change the fact that it is Monday, right? Just that Sunday, I made a promise with someone to make the best out of it. Like she'd said, "Promise is a promise, cannot be broken."

Now, I really thank God for her.

---

Today/yesterday was another great day! I officially started school today/yesterday and the first class I attended was a practical class -- Pathology Lab.

We're focusing on Haematology (studies on blood) for these few weeks. So, lab practicals will involve blood for sure.

Preparation of blood films -- lancet | pricked middle finger | blood drops on slides | blood films ready to be stained

The silly me actually swabbed my finger with alcohol and only found out later that the skin on my finger tip is hard, thanks to guitar. So, had to swab another finger.

My finger got pricked 3 times just to get my practical done. Ouch.

---

Oh btw, according to my latest timetable, I can finally attend Monash's CF. Awesome!

Attended Sunway College's CF just now with Xuewen and Michael. I'm soooooo looking forward to attend Monash's CF next week!

It's just so exciting even to just think bout it!

And I can't wait for Youth Church this Saturday.

Badminton tomorrow, tentatively 2 - 4pm in Klang. Anyone?

This week is gonna be an exciting week!

If you took note the time I started writing this entry, yeah that's the time I just woke up from my nap. Napped right after dinner! Piggy? Oh, you can say that again.

I still don't know what zapped all my energy away. Nonetheless, this week is gonna be an exciting week!

Some of you asked, "Why so?"

The reason is simple. I just wanna proclaim it and I know my words have power and hence, it'll be great.

---

I'm very excited 'bout what You're gonna do in my life.
I can't wait to see You face-to-face again.
Just a glimpse of Your glory is all I need.
I know just a slight touch from You will change my life.

I just can't wait!

Change The Weather.

Last week

This guy called me upon receiving an email from me regarding the HP event.

(Conversation in Mandarin)

He: Hello, can I speak to so and so?

me: Yeah, speaking.

So I just received an email bout the event la. What should I do with it?

You would need to register if you wish to participate in this event. You can either reply our email, fax your name and details to us or even register with me over the line right now.

You mean now? I just need to tell you my name?

Yes.

Okay, register la. My name is ________.

Sorry sir, do you mind spelling it for me?

Okay. g-o-h-UNDERSCORE-c-h-e-e-UNDERSCORE-h-y-u-n-g.

Err. Underscore? An email?

Or you all can call me Steven also. Steven Goh Chee Hyung.

Oh I see. Okay Steven, thanks.

So, people.. can someone tell me what's with the underscore??
Prolly he got it mixed up with space uh? LOL

---

Today

So now that the event has ended, those participants were supposed to fill up an evaluation form and they're asked to give feedbacks regarding the event.

One of the questions:

What can we do to improve this event in the future? We welcome suggestions.

And the brilliant answer from the same guy as above:

"Control the weather of the room temperature. Very cold!! Or provide us a jacket to warm us."

uh huh.. -.-"

funny guy!

That's why we laugh so much at work.

6 days to go.

Sue-li
and I have nothing much to do in our work place. We were literally shaking our legs there, yes, literally only. Makan gathering with xuewen and others yesterday was something I looked forward to.

I enjoyed your companionship very much.

---

Today, I was rather shocked when Shannie came over to us and offered us a lift to our car. I went =O for a while trying to comprehend her offer. Like, did she really say that? 'Cause it's so not Shannie! Haha!

Oh well, I'm NOT trying to say that she's not nice or what. She's nice, really! Just that I always feel that she's someone 'cool' and just didn't expect that from her la. I'm still quite scared of her, in a way.

I don't know why. But this is the second time I'm blessed with her simple gestures. The first time was this.

It's like those 'hard at the outer, soft at the inner" if you get what I mean.

---

It's only 9 something now and guess what? I think I'm going to bed soon. Yeah, first time sleeping this early.

I still don't understand how come I can be this tired when I hardly do anything in office. LOL.

Okay, goodnight! =)

8 days to go.

Currently working part time with Sue-Li at an event company at Kelana Jaya Centre Point. It's the same company as the one I blogged before previously. 14th Feb - 29th Feb.

Very tiring eventhough I don't do much somedays. Maybe we shouldn't be so efficient in our work doing 'cause we tend to have nothing to do once we finished our assigned work too quickly.

My supervisors even asked me to just sit there and enjoy when I have nothing to do. That sounds fun right, Xuewen? So that explains gaji buta. Okay, not exactly.. since we HAVE work to do. Just that we FINISHED them too quickly? That left us with a lot of free time and people like Sue-li and I whine our boredom away.

Sue-li and I are very punctual there. Especially for lunch break or going home time..

Road names like Jefferson Rd and Ang Mo Kio Ave 1 at our neighbouring country down south amazed me. They sounded so chun when compared to the Malay road names we have like Jalan Ipoh and Jalan Kuching in KL. But that's not too bad, seriously.

Today, I can conclude that those who gave the road names in Malaysia are quite creative and humourous. In Malaysia, we have

1) Jalan Bachang (glutinuous rice dumpling road) in Malacca
2) Jalan Kelian (pitiful road in hokkien) in Penang.

WOW!

A Friend Like You.

There are lots of things

With which I'm blessed,
My problems have been few,
But of all, this one's the best:
To have a friend like you.

In times of trouble
Friends will say,
"Just ask, I'll help you through it."
But you don't wait for me to ask,
You just get up and do it!

And I can think
of nothing more
That I could wisely do,
Than know a friend,
And be a friend,
And have a friend like you.

Photobucket

BLESSED BIRTHDAY, LEE SU ANN!

Your love, your friendship and companionship is amazing! You're someone that I will cherish for the rest of my life. Thanks for being there all the time and you're truly God-gifted.

XOXO

and Happy Valentine's to all! (esp to Kendra!)

Wow!

Considering the fact how Juvee shares her 2 joined-single beds with her other 2 older sisters and one younger brother, it really amazed me.

Like, four of them on that merged-bed?

Yeah, something like that.

So close right? *envy*

So last night, I slept over at Mun Wah's room along with Mun Sheung in a queen-sized bed. Mun Wah was the one who suggested this idea where she regretted later on. Haha! I was in the middle. And I couldn't turn.

In the middle of the night, Mun Sheung who was on my right breathed so heavily!! While Mun Wah on my left actually talks in her sleep? Gosh.

And so sempit. I didn't move for that few hours. As still as a log.

At around 4am, I decided to crawl back to my own bedrooom and sleep on my bed. Beh tahan! I don't want stiff necks or bodyaches during church service the next day. Ahh.. heaven-like!

Photobucket
Now I'm amazed how we (Jiawen, Joy and myself) shared this bed the other day. Wow!

Meals have been really irregular throughout CNY. I only have one meal everyday. The only proper meal is dinner. Or you can say that we ate throughout (junks) the day, continuously. So, it's still one meal what.

How's yours?

Happy Chinese New Year!

Quite a few asked me last night over MSN, "How do you spend your CNY? What do you do?"

Err.. I don't know? The normal way of way of celebrating? How do we differ? I don't know. The visitings? Family get-togethers? House hoppings with friends? The hehe(s) and haha(s) and updates bout their life?

And oh, I bet this one thing/tradition that we observe doesn't happen to you all. Tea serving. Anyone?

Since young, Mun Wah and I were taught to honour our parents by this tea serving ceremony. Basically, we have to get down on our knees, serve a cup of Chinese tea to our parents one by one and greet them "Gong Hei Fatt Choi" or whatever Cantonese CNY idioms you know. And they will take a sip and then give us our angpaos as a token of blessing. This happens in the morning of the first day of CNY.

The not-very-Chinese Mun Sheung would westernise us. Now, we don't even need to serve tea and yet, we'd still get our red packets. Uh huh.

Then mom would cook vegetarian food (basically mixed of all the mushrooms' family -- it's like the mushroom's annual gathering as well before they end up in our digestive tract?) for us all in the morning. Oh well. It's just a tradition la. And as time progresses and when we knew Jesus about 5 years back, we still observe this tradition (because we're still Chinese!) but mom doesn't offer food to the idols anymore. Now, besides that annual-mixed-mushrooms dish, we have side dishes like steamed chicken or bbq chicken wings and whatnot. No more full vegetarian meal you see.

My dad is the youngest son in his family. Somehow when it comes to food (my mom is a good cook!), dad's siblings would come and visit us on the first day of CNY and help themselves with this scrumptious meal. Mom's siblings would come too. So, as year passes, mom would have to cook even more. You know la, these uncles and aunties would come along with their children and all. It's so exciting just to host them again.

Today, I woke up around 12pm only. And while washing up, I can hear doorbells and everyone is here already! OMG. Mom hasn't even cooked yet. So, I've to be a good host and entertain them first la.

Okay, maybe I SHOULD be a good host now.

Happy CNY everyone, have a great time ahead and plenty of H2O please!

Pain!

Something has gone wrong with my abdomen these few days.

Had a terrible pain on the epigastric (E) region of my abdomen on Sunday morning till I couldn't get up from bed. I didn't know it was gastric! In fact, it was a horrible one!

It was so bad till I couldn't turn up for church. And Sue May happily thought that I intended to skip church. Hurr.

That pain crept in during my sleep and lasted until night? You can ask Amelia bout it and yet, I still insisted to pick her up for gathering at Gideon's place. That's because I want to go out! Haha!

---

Then on the following day, had terrible pain on my umbilical (U) region.

Okay, just in case if you don't know what I'm talking about. Basically, this is how our abdomen look like, from the anterior view.

And to describe it more accurately, we'd divide this abdomen into 9 regions and name them accordingly..

like this...

And because of pain in these two regions namely the epigastric (E) and umblical (U), I only lie restlessly on my bed like a snail (with my poppee and another pillow under my belly) while whining my way.

Went to my GP. He said I have complications with my food intake and then wind colic came about. I deferred my psychology exam with an MC from him. I was not fit enough for this exam. Hhmm..

Yeap, that's all.

So much of anatomy uh. I promise there will be lesser of these in the future.

---

Joy, I'll be more discipline. You too please!
Jean, cannot have so much tomyam edi
=( . Now you kurang one kaki

Boy Friend Aku

Now, get it?

OMG. I. LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. MANUAL. CARS!!!

And now Mun Sheung was given this task, to do an experiment at home.

Photobucket

The same ol' experiment la.

And she said she'll put her beans in MY room.

"Why??"

"Because they need light to grow."

"So? Why my room??!"

"'Cause your room lights will be on till 5am? At least got more light exposures when compared to MY room."

Quite true uh. Didn't know she brought her brains out thought this far.

Not bad not bad.

OMG!

I told Jiawen before that Malaysia is not safe (at night) place sometimes and I'm saying it again! Okay, not the entire of Malaysia. My KL or Klang Valley to be precise? Other places like Kuching is fine, its peaceful.

So just now, I was walking with Yan Rui (he was on my right and Sophia was somewhere behind us) when a guy on a motorbike came by. That guy tried snatching Yan Rui's digital camera from his hand (he was holding it with his right hand along with his food).

Everything happened in a split second.

We were too shocked and we can only hear Yan Rui's "Ehhhhhh" repeatedly because that guy was grabbing it. Thank God Yan Rui was smart enough to hold it tightly. The digicam then fell on the ground.

The guy on the motorbike left when his failed attempt. Honestly, my heart skipped a beat! Hearing from other people is different from experiencing it yourself. S-c-a-r-y.

Thank God everything was alright. No one was injured, nothing loss. Except for Sophia, she was traumatized.

So folks, be careful!
