... of Healing and Chipster!

The other day I posted bout some gross growth in my left eye, right? Many complained that the picture grossed them out. Maybe I shouldn't put it up. But then again, I'm a person who can't really describe things well. I guess a picture worth thousand words right? You tell me bout it.

Many showed their concern and asked me to go to the doctor to at least check and do something with it. I didn't. I'm know at that time, I'm already healed by faith, in Jesus' Name.

Auntie Janie (Aivy's mom) kinda bargained with me on Sunday night. She said I can believe in the healing but by Wednesday if the thing got worsen (just in case), I should really go to the doctor. The stubborn me of course said no la. I prayed over my eye and believed Him wholeheartedly. And by Tuesday, I realised that it's ALL gone. Nothing left and my vision became crystal clear.

"And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”

Matthew 21:22

I asked, I believed and then, I received. All glory to Him.

So people, start asking! =)

Are You A Genius?

Okay, enough of gross pictures. Sorry, people!

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Alright, I got this from Tammy. It says...

If you see this lady turning in clockwise you are using your right brain.

If you see it the other way, you are using left brain.

Some people do see both ways, but most people see it only one way.

If you try to see it the other way and if you do see, your IQ is above
average, almost a genius.

This is not a joke. Both directions can be seen.

----

I saw (and still see) both directions even before I read these descriptions.

But I ain't genius.

So, I'm the first to bust this "theory" wrong?

What do you see? Tell me (in the comment box please)

It was a great time being able to meet up with Lee Chen again after so long. It was good being able to see and catch up with her and the rest last Thursday during my break interval in school.

Clockwise from left: Ming Choi, Ya Cheng, Shwu Tyng, Lee Chen, Pek Yee and yours truly

It wasn't in my plan for blood donation that day but its good to donate right, since that's something that I can offer to help those who needs it.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Lotsa people have phobias for the huge needles, phobia for the pain (I have posted on this before) and some didn't want to donate because it will cause the donor to gain lotsa weight. Yes, but lives are more precious after all. You won't feel the need till you actually experience it, and when each drop of your blood could save one's life.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
The Gang in the blood donation drive. In the picture: Tammy, May Jean and Yi Wei

I remember the first time when I donated my blood during the National Service, they mentioned that we're not allowed to do any excessive activities like playing sports etc after the donation. We should rest.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Oh well, I forget this and went for tennis with Cheryl, Ivan and Melvin in the evening after donating (Blood donation was not in the plan, tennis is!).

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

And yours truly almost passed out THREE times during the training, yeah 3 times!

My heart beat faster than usual and I thought my stamina has gone from bad to worst since I hadn't really played for so long. Little did I realize that it was because I do not have enough red blood cells (donated) and there aren't enough oxygen carried to my brain. Thus, my heart worked harder, pumped harder and faster to replenish the lack of oxygen state. It's not as efficient, thus giving me a slight black-out till I rested.

Someone please tell me how smart can I be.

My right arm muscles ache a little after that. I thought it was because of the sudden tennis playing after so long. Now that I realize, there's a little hemorrhage underneath my superficial skin. Somewhere near the vein where the needle was inserted.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
The blue-black isn't clear here. The pink-circle was the needle insertion mark and the purple-circle is the bruise.

It was alright earlier on, till I played. Amy, now you see it again, I'm not that "smart" you know.

----

Okay, now I have some gross growth somewhere next to my left eyeball INSIDE my eye. Cannot be seen from the outer appearance. I mean, not obvious la..

I'm heaty and lack of water-drinking. Sue-li, drink more water!!

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

The usual kind of "growth" is somewhere at the lower part of the eyelid. Where it is obvious. Not in my case, it's inside. Had to pull my eyelid and pinch it to the side to see this gross thing.

Wanna see? Let me show you.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Gross? I know! Oh God, I want my sight

So people, pray for me! It's distracting my left eye vision.

Monash Prom

Yesterday night was Monash University's prom night. Oh wait, more of "the night before yesterday" considering that it's already 1.05am now. Friday night, that is!

It was held at the grand ballroom of Mandarin Oriental Hotel, a 6-star hotel in the middle of the Kuala Lumpur. Next to KLCC

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Couldn't take both the jagung since I took it with my phone from the car during a stop for traffic light.

I didn't join. Many asked me for reasons. The main reason would be.. I have no $. Besides that, dressing up? uh-uh.. You would end up seeing a pondan there. Plus, its not yet my final semester yet. I still have one more year to go. But the last reason isn't valid la. Considering that everyone in The Gang (except Ah Jie) was there.

I was so potong.. I know! Nevertheless, I wanted to see how beautiful my dear May Jean, Yi Wei etc etc became. So, I told them that I would join them for the after-event thing. Just to meet them up after the prom and spend the night with them in KL. And I did.

Note: Click on the picture above to enlarge it

It was a great night just having to see these friends that I heart. They really look different. May Jean was very pretty that night, no joke.

*PICTURE REMOVED. Was blackmailed by the owner, have to remove it to save my life*

Pretty right??! I told ya! Not everyone looked this good though.

We adjourned for a place called The LookOut Point in Ampang after the prom.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

This place is like a miniature of Genting Highlands with the steep roads etc. This is a good place to chill. You can sip your drinks nicely, have a good catch up with your friends and when you're out of topic, you can always admire the beauty of KL @ night.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
View from the LookOut Point

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
A group picture from the LookOut Point. Yours truly was scared of the Her Majesty Yi Wei beside her. Okay, I was just kidding. Lame, I know.

Oh by the way, did I mention that we were stopped by the policeman at a road block on the way to this place? Ah Sian's huge Toyota Alphard and my little tiny car were asked to pull to the side of the road and we were asked bout where we came from and where we're heading etc. Our ICs were checked.

The funniest thing was that the police officers didn't believe them for real. With their make-ups and hair set up, their dressings; how could one be compared with their pics of their IC la?

The police officer would go, "You sure its you ah? Don't look like you also! You wore specs in this picture and now you don't"

Duhh~ Who would wear the thick nerdy spectacles to a prom night? Of course contact lenses la right?

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

But they DO look different la.. Can't blame the police officers then.

Owh. Now I find that they look super good without their makeups. That's all for now. It was a great night I must say.

T Y P O

I noticed that typo during a chat session is common amongst us. Especially one who types considerably fast.

Well, it's okay if the typo can be understood and there isn't a need to pardon yourself if the person you're chatting with understands what you want to say.

For example, "I think i lilke to eat chicken rice"

Spot that? Our human mind is powerful, we can omit the extra "l" right away and read it as "like".

However, what bout typo that has double meaning? Like this...

sorry - was downstairs for a sex

LOL.

Yeah, imagine if she didn't make the correction.

A few days ago, Ming Hui commented on me. I don't know if I should take it as a compliment or a sarcasm.

Here it goes:

"I see that everyone in your gang (as in The Gang) can really talk and they're all so funny la! Except for you la.. always pan (act) cool there"

That was referring to yours truly coz she doesn't really talk much if The Gang is there. She laughs.

You must be thinking now, "Mun Khea keeping quiet? Yeah right! I could NEVER imagine, I just couldn't!"

Nevermind, I could never imagine it myself either. I talk alot, and that is true. Oh well, I WASN'T trying to act cool or anything by muting myself up okay.

It's just because...

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
I guess majority of the readers of this blog could high-5 with me, right? RIGHT?! Admit it la, self-denial is no good. Haha!

... I can't speak like them. But I love being with them, and listen.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Nevermind, I shall take it as a compliment, as always. Haha!

To my discovery, the quality and long-lasting-ness of Thai products aren't too bad actually. At least, I must give credit to their mineral water.

Credit: YiWei's bottle and she showed me these

Oh, you wanna know why? Come, let me show you a closer look.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Whoa! They're going to expire only on the 31st December 2051 lehh! I would be 65 years old by then. See, their product can really last!

I seriously salute them.

---

And, I had an interesting chat on MSN with Sue-Li just now. She's in Moo Moo Land now and sometimes I seriously hope that I could teleport myself there to meet her.

Anyway, this is just part of the conversation and gosh, guess what kind of dream she had 2 days back!

Click on the picture above to read the conversation.

WET dream?? Whoops.

Not what you're thinking okay..

Have a nice day!

Aku Bertekad!

I've been nerding like mad these two days. Wait, not really, considering that I've played a game.

This is a game introduced by Ee Von and it's so addictive!

There are 4 rooms in all. Basically, you're locked in the room, alone. You're supposed to find clues around you and try to escape by putting all the clues together. This game definitely woke my brain up a little, from the sleeping mode.

Try it yourself!

This chamber is supposedly the easiest. So, start with this.

BLUE chamber

CRIMSON room

The following one is a little trickier.. but a good one.

Lastly, this one is also another good one.

Addictive, right? Told ya!

All credits and super thanks to TAN EE VON!

The supposedly-tomorrow's oh-so-tough-but-not-enough-time-to-study punyer Anatomy midterm exam is POSTPONED to October 3rd!

HALLELUJAH!

You should see how lifted the students in the lecture hall were, when this good news was announced. Everyone became so hyped up (compared to earlier-punyer-stressed mode) and grinning from ear-to-ear.

We're still in the peak assignment week, where everything comes in together and due together. How hectic. Urgh. By the time I finished my MBB assignment for that oh-so-fussy-perfectionist-lecturer, I only had 2 days left to study for tomorrow's exam. I actually switched my reading-textbook mode to reading-lecture-slides mode. That also, cannot finish on time.

Anyway, the postponing of the exam is good and I'm gonna study the textbook, yes, the TEXTBOOK.

Not much la, just 495 PAGES of explanations from your shoulder to your toe, that's all.

Bummer.

How to study all laaa? I ain't genius. I definitely need LOTSA God's wisdom and favour with me.

On the other hand, I seriously wanna repent for my procrastination done (hopefully).

Decided to start my camping session in the library (again) till late night starting from Oct 1st, after my midterm break.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

COME join me, anyone?

Harvest Youth

All in a sudden, I seriously miss the House of Crazy Apes' (HCA) Youth.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

The togetherness, the craziness.

No doubt those times I wasn't even close to people like Aivy yet. I haven't even meet new friends like Xue Wen and Amelia Lee yet. What more folks like Fangyi, Vivien, Nicole and Juvee?

Time really flies. Nothing remained the same.

Oh, how I miss those moments.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

I actually miss having Ekjing and Sher Ri around, the ones that I always turn to when I face problems. They're always there, readily to hear me out even before I ask.

I miss the hugs, Sher. Church is always colder without you.

I'm not childish.

---

Mom constantly remind me to grow up, as if I ain't growing, mentally. She always reminds me that I'm no longer a kid and I should not be playing so much.

Not to mention, being childish and running about every end, racing with my littlest sister in MidValley and what not.

Babe used to make me behave and not playing around, whenever I'm with her in Jusco.

Even Mun Wah (my younger sister) feels embarrassed and have to stop me from playing with Mun Sheung in shopping complexes. She thinks that we're childish.

That terrible meh? =( I don't think so

Prolly they're just jealous coz no one plays with them eh? =P

---

Talking about restlessness in shopping complexes, I guess guys would be worse. Have a look at the following article.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

See! I told you, I behaved better! =P

I nearly died yesterday.

Maybe not, could be just injuries or paralysed. Who knows.

---

If not for Angeline (who shouted my name so loudly), I wouldn't have stopped and realized that the car was so near me.

Angeline = God-sent angel?

EDIT: Angeline claimed that she was too shock and didn't shout my name. That's weird. And I'm pretty sure it wasn't Ming Hui's voice. Gosh, this is freaky. Could it be the real angel? Whoa.

By the way, I DID look to the right, to the left and to the right again before I crossed the road. Just that, this car came out from his parking space suddenly. So swiftly before he managed to pull his emergency break, that was about 2 inches away from me. Yes, literally 2 inches! Gosh.

The car managed to stop, the driver apologized and moved on.

Angeline was so shocked, and she came to me immediately asking if I'm okay. That was so sweet of her, felt bad to create such shock for her. Angeline, sorry. The incident was unintended okay. IF ONLY I looked to the right and to the left 10x, I would have avoided that. As if. Haha!

Anyway, I seriously wanna thank God for His provision upon my life. And His sent-angel.

---

Before that accident, we were having our lunch in this restaurant called "One Noodle" in SS2. I guess most of you have heard of this place.

The food in this restaurant is similar with Dragon-I in Sunway Pyramid. And I like the la-mien (ramen) there, yum~

It was raining cats and dogs before we reached that place. My car's wiper was on its maximum speed, on Federal Highway. It was a cold day. What else could make you feel warm and nice other than this?

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Spoon after spoon, filled with few strands of noodles, a piece of shredded pork with some warm soup shoved right into the mouth and next to the rest of the gastrointestinal tract, how heavenly more can it be? Tell me bout it.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

This is somewhat like siu-mai, fillings consists of minced pork and prawns. Once you take a bite of it, the soupy substance inside this xiao-long-bao has no where else to flow but into your mouth. Satisfaction.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

No food was left with the hungry us.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

We left that place with a full tummy, along with satisfaction.

Using Angeline's living policy: Live to Eat.

People, give it a try when you're around SS2 area okay! =)

Enjoy!

Virus Via MSN

I was on MSN when my ex-classmate from SAM sent me a message.

*Click on the image to enlarge it . Applies to all images of this post

It was so obvious that its a virus prank.

I closed the window, I ignored it.

Later in the evening, another message came from her again. This time, its something new.

Whoa. Even to the extreme that she likes me?

*Cough*

This virus les one ah?

This time, I decided to play along. So, I replied like this:

Right, I was just kidding. Good thing it didn't confuse my friend.

---

So people, if you happen to come across this sort of message like giving you a link via MSN, do NOT click on it immediately. Double check with your friend to see if he/she has sent you the link or not. This is because this sort of virus could eat up your hard disk or corrupt your system if you download it (by clicking on it).

Virus could not harm you unless you download them. So, be careful =)

Just a kind reminder.

Have a great day, hugs.

Time: 6.40pm
Location: Monash University

Yes, you are right. I'm blogging IN my class now.

I have exactly 6 more days (inclusive of weekends) to study before my Anatomy midterm exam. There will be 3/4 of the entire unit's syllabus covered and I'm so not prepared. Imagine memorizing EVERY inch on your bones, muscles, nerves, blood supply for your ENTIRE body?

Not to mention I have a fussy-perfectionist-high expectation-lecturer waiting for my assignment that is gonna due this coming Monday and a major lab report (8%)0 that is gonna due on the same day as my Anatomy exam.

I seriously have no idea how I'm gonna complete the assignment, the major lab report as well as studying for this exam in just these 6 days. Wait, only 4 days to until the assignment due.

"Finish reading is one thing, understanding and remembering is another thing"
(Lee, 2007)

---

Jesus, I seriously need Your favour and wisdom NOW.

All I'm gonna do for these few days would be...

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Yes, nerding in the library.

As always.

--

On the other hand, I thank God that there isn't MBB lab this morning.

At least I don't need to wake up earlier for lab and rush through an UNPREDICTABLE traffic. Seriously, when I said unpredicatable, it is unpredicatable. I may leave my house at 8am one morning and reach school at 8.15am OR I leave my house at 8am (same) but reach school at 9.20am. That is a whole load of ONE HOUR and 5 minutes extra.

Upon reaching, I don't know why Monash carpark is ALWAYS packed ONLY on Wednesday. I still don't get it.

Also, at least I don't need to be picked on, by my MBB lab demo today.

I don't understand, be it if I was early or late for class, or if the attendance sheet already has my signature or haven't, she tends to CALL my name and ask for me EVERY Wednesday morning without fail. I don't why. This is not the attention I'm seeking for, no.

The freaky part is that she could pronounce my name CORRECTLY (not moon kee, or mun kia, or moon kia) even from the start of the lab itself. Last 2 weeks, she told me this secret. She knows Yink Heay (my ex-lab demo)and she reads Heay's blog. And that, I do tag in Heay's blog, that's why. Now, let's hope she doesn't get linked to this blog okay. It's dangerous.

Since today there isn't a lab session, I could sleep in later than usual, drive to school with a smooth traffic flow and get a parking space straight away. And yes, NO picking on me as well. Phew~

I thank God for today.

Makanan Pengemis

Very rarely, Mun Wah and I will take off from our youth service.

Last Saturday we did, and E-Jinn purposely chose to come only when I take off. I knew she did that on purpose, right?? Haha!

Don't worry, Mun Wah and I didn't backslide or anything.

We went for a makan trip to Ijok with our paternal family. The journey starts at 4pm (same time as youth service, that explains) and it took around 1 hour to reach that place. It's about 30 km from Klang via narrow, single-laned road.

Ijok is a secluded place in Selangor, a famous stop for travellers when they travel between Kuala Selangor and Kuala Lumpur.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

This place offers all sort of makanan pengemis and they're so "action". Haha! This restaurant opens only on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. The rest of the days, they are off!

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
New Beggar's Delicious Restaurant

And in EACH day, they only serve 200 tables of customers, thats all. You even need to make reservation with them before you go. It's not a walk-in-and-dine-place, if you get what I mean.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

This is because they manually cook our food using the beggar's way. Using clay and furnace all.. don't believe? Come, let me show you..

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

This is the clay they used, as the outer coating while persevering the taste as they slow-cook them.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

And this is the furnace where those food are cooked. A closer look into the furnace? Alright, here it goes..

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

In the end, the food looks like this (arrow) before the clay is knocked by the hammer

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

And because of all these, the food seriously tastes good! *thumbs up*

Why so many beggar's dish, you may ask? Err, everything comes in a set and this set with 10 dishes altogether costs RM 300. It's meant for 10 people.

We calculated for the owner, he can easily make RM 60 000 in A DAY's business. He can buy a MyVi with cash and yet still have 10k balance every week. That would make me say, WHOAH!

So people, you can stop torturing yourself with studies and go learn some skills from the beggar and make money liao =)

Alright, I'm just kidding. Please study. I don't want this blog to sound like ajaran sesat.

Later that evening, we had a cousins' yumcha session at Pak Li, Bukit Tinggi.
