Why do we always major in the minor and minor in the major?

Because we all think there's still alot of time for the major so we sub-consciously decide to focus on the minor first (and normally the minors are more exciting)! And so it turns out, after awhile the major lags behind. I think.

Hence the term MAJOR. major can be minored. minor can be majored AND minor can be minored.
but MAJOR can never be MAJORED. ;)

MAJOR seems like a dominant trait to me. hrmmm
