Went for a Japanese Style Steamboat Buffet yesterday with 1/2 The Gang namely Jean Nee, Yik Wooi, May Jean and her sis May Kim (sp?).

We dined at Bandar Puteri, Puchong branch. There are other branches in other places but this branch was said to be the 'famous' one.

my RM 25

With merely RM 25, one can eat all you want here and there are great variety of food.

Container with food on the conveyor

The special part bout eating in Shabu Shabu is that you'll get a steamboat set ALL FOR YOURSELF. I mean each will have their own pot of soup and you can throw in whatever food you want from the conveyor.

My personal pot of soup and sauces

The food are fresh here. Take a look at the colour of the sliced pork below

The Gang was so greedy that even before the soup boils, we already chose our food, take them out from the conveyor and place them aside. Haha!

Slush grape (plus abit of slush orange top)

The RM25 is a per entry thingy that entitles you for all the food as well as drinks. The drinks offered there was slush grape, slush orange, hot green tea as well as sky juices. Pick any drinks you want and refill as you wish.

Now take a look at my squids. Or mini octopus? Haha! It's fresh and juicy, don't need to be cooked. It's like those teriyaki-styled. I took about 3 of it? Goshh~

They have all sorts of balls there and my personal favourite would be the ham ball.

I've a feeling that the level of bad cholesterol in Jean Nee and I have increased tremendously after this meal. Thanks to the amount of shrimp we consumed. Right, Jean? But, they are the tastiest amongst all. Irresistible.

Note the colour of my soup. This is somewhere after 1/2 hour of my meal.

And this is the end colour after countless shrimps were added. The soup was so viscous in the end that they tasted soooo salty (natural sea salt flavour) along with the strong shrimp taste.

Ah-hah!

Now I know the secret into making prawn-mee soup!

Saw the high tower of containers?

That is how much we ate. Ohh wait, this is NOT ALL. The rest of the containers have already been cleared by the workers there occasionally.

Now that explains my title. And this meal lasted me till the following day's dinner, that is till just now laa. I didn't even eat breakfast or lunch, I was THAT full.

People, it's worth trying. Not all the time la, can die of eating. Haha!

Can ring me for directions there. Do give it a try and enjoy!
