I've just gotten back all my assignments and reports just now.
I'm very satisfied with my marks for both SCI 2010 and MBB assignments.
On the other hand, I'm very unsatisfied (or rather) very disappointed with my GEN 3040 report marks. Blame MK for her indetailled and not-lengthy-enough report. I've requested for resubmission, hope it will be granted.
So, what's satisfaction?
It's like in a real hot day, and you buy a cold bottle of Coke. Then you twist the cap open, take a big gulp of it down your throw and then..
*burp*
That's what I call satisfaction...
---
Or after a real tiring day of studying, pamper yourself with this as dinner
Chicken Chop at Salmon Steak, SS15
Despite the long day, the study progress, the coke and the dinner is the satisfaction.
All you can see is a smile on my face.
That's how satisfaction works..

Codependence
My friend suddenly sent me this over MSN and she's facing this right now.
Reading this profound definition while finding out more bout this definition here makes me ponder. Am I suffering from this psychological symptom as well?

Lots of thoughts have been running through my mind lately.
I have issues. Tell me bout it. Not really issues, but yeah, issues.
I don't get it why people always look at things at the superficial level and straight jumping into conclusion and play jury. Can't they just look into the deep fascia for just once? And enjoy the process of knowing and understanding.
It's as if one reads the first line of a story book and then jump straight to the last paragraph of the book and believe that whatever they'd conceived in their mind based on what they read or rather assuming that their own make-out-story-plot is correct.
Or as if one wanted to experiment on something. By reading the title or the introduction of the research, one would already make a hypothesis for that experiment and without doing the experiment, one already assumed that their hypothesis is right and start concluding the experiment without even going through the procedure and discuss bout it. Does that make you a good scientist?
---
Not forgetting the stressfulcrazypressurizedununderstanableandunmemorizable units I'm facing for my finals exam. Ugh.
Just 7 days more, OMG!
---
I can't wait for camp. And anticipating a lot and want to just give my all to Him.. till, some news just broke in. And I'm quite let down by something. But I'm sure if that's what He wants, I will surrender
Monash University's walkway to the carpark
I need a vacation.
I need You, let me drown in Your love once again.

Chinese Name
I like my chinese name
I can't read or write Chinese except for my own name.
Sometimes when people asked for my name in Chinese, I would quickly take out my mobile phone and dengan hao-lian (action), I will change the settings to Chinese and start typing my name with help in pinyin. Then I will show them.
"Whoa, a very nice name!"
"Of course la, grandpa gave one ma"
The first character of this name meant smart; quick; active. Not so accurate describing me, yeah, maybe the "active" word there meant "noisy" la. Aww.. they were just being nice.
and the latter character meant beautiful, silk. Beautiful? LOL. Yeah right!
Some would tell me that this name is so girl-ly. Yeala, I'm so not up to this name. Haha!
---
Was on MSN with someone bout her chinese name. She even conceived the meaning to her Chinese name wrongly all these while and disliked it for no apparent reason.
It's a beautiful name I must say.
As I was looking for real meaning to her Chinese name, I found this site which I find it super uber funny. I mean, the translated English names.
I didn't know Tom Cruise's surname in Chinese is pronounced as a "chair" in Malay by some Chinese folks who can't pronounce their Rs nicely. Eeww. And Mel Gibson? LOL
It's so cool to have Chinese name eh? I love mine.
So do you know what your name means?

bloated.
Went for a Japanese Style Steamboat Buffet yesterday with 1/2 The Gang namely Jean Nee, Yik Wooi, May Jean and her sis May Kim (sp?).
We dined at Bandar Puteri, Puchong branch. There are other branches in other places but this branch was said to be the 'famous' one.
my RM 25
With merely RM 25, one can eat all you want here and there are great variety of food.
Container with food on the conveyor
The special part bout eating in Shabu Shabu is that you'll get a steamboat set ALL FOR YOURSELF. I mean each will have their own pot of soup and you can throw in whatever food you want from the conveyor.
My personal pot of soup and sauces
The food are fresh here. Take a look at the colour of the sliced pork below
The Gang was so greedy that even before the soup boils, we already chose our food, take them out from the conveyor and place them aside. Haha!
Slush grape (plus abit of slush orange top)
The RM25 is a per entry thingy that entitles you for all the food as well as drinks. The drinks offered there was slush grape, slush orange, hot green tea as well as sky juices. Pick any drinks you want and refill as you wish.
Now take a look at my squids. Or mini octopus? Haha! It's fresh and juicy, don't need to be cooked. It's like those teriyaki-styled. I took about 3 of it? Goshh~
They have all sorts of balls there and my personal favourite would be the ham ball.
I've a feeling that the level of bad cholesterol in Jean Nee and I have increased tremendously after this meal. Thanks to the amount of shrimp we consumed. Right, Jean? But, they are the tastiest amongst all. Irresistible.
Note the colour of my soup. This is somewhere after 1/2 hour of my meal.
And this is the end colour after countless shrimps were added. The soup was so viscous in the end that they tasted soooo salty (natural sea salt flavour) along with the strong shrimp taste.
Ah-hah!
Now I know the secret into making prawn-mee soup!
Saw the high tower of containers?
That is how much we ate. Ohh wait, this is NOT ALL. The rest of the containers have already been cleared by the workers there occasionally.
Now that explains my title. And this meal lasted me till the following day's dinner, that is till just now laa. I didn't even eat breakfast or lunch, I was THAT full.
People, it's worth trying. Not all the time la, can die of eating. Haha!
Can ring me for directions there. Do give it a try and enjoy!

Malacca Trip
Was in Malacca with Aivy and others during this Hari Raya weekend. Valerie organised this trip and she did a great job I must say. Thanks Val!
We neither visited any historical places nor their parks/zoo/whateveryoucallthem.
Then what else can we do in Malacca?
Current motto: Live to eat.
It's sinful not to savour their chicken rice balls and their authentic Nyonya cuisine if we're there la.
And yeah, we also shopped alot! =)
Btw, Aivy's head is heavy!
It was a great time I must say.

My car is still not back yet. Have to be dependent on people for transport currently. Sigh

Final assignment/report/assessment were all passed up last week. This week onwards gonna be a full-blast-nerding-session!

Cadeaver is cool!
WARNING: This post is not meant for faint hearted people. It is okay if you don't feel comfortable and leave this post unread.
---
The following conversation took place last Saturday morning..
mk: Cadeaver is cool!
vy: Who is that? I just woke up
mk: dead body.
So cute right? She thought its "someone" by the name of Cadeaver as if I'm saying 'Tom is cool' or 'Jerry is cool'.
So, Cadeaver is cool!

Yeah, we were given the privilege to visit the Medical Faculty of UKM.
group picture at the lobby of UKM, KL campus
The group was too huge, so we were split into 2 groups and take turn to get into the dissection hall. So, my group was led to the Anatomy Museum first.
*yawns*
It's a place full of dissected limbs, embalmed and preserved in formalin for studies purposed.
Cross-section of a REAL right foot.
In our body, supposedly the nerves and blood supplies are of same colour. In order to differentiate them for studies purposes, the nerves were painted in yellow while the arteries were painted in red. But they are REAL nerves and arteries behind these paint coatings. Take note of the skin, its reaaal! Haha!
I wonder how many souls are in this museum. LOL. Alright, jokes aside.
2 months old embryo
This embryo is still intact in the amnion sac with its nutrient and oxygen supply via the placenta.
5 1/2 months old foetus
The following foetus is a still-born baby. He was about to be given birth till his mother met in a car accident. Both could not survive.
9 months old foetus
I believe he's a chinese boy, from the observed features. Somemore got so much hair lehhh..
Most of these preserved display foetus are aborted by their mothers, for God-knows-what-reason.
Cross section of the skull (the left side)
This is literally somebody's REAL head. Here you can see the exact content and location of our brain and what not.
This is not all yet.
The coolest part is that..
...we had HANDS ON EXPERIENCE on the dead bodies!
How cool more can that be? You bet.
It's real cool when you get to weigh both the kidneys with your both palms, their lungs, their heart, their uterus and even their balls?
Each layer can be flipped open. The skin, the muscle (for identification) and you can feel for yourself the arteries, veins and nerves!
We even tried opening the eye to see if the eye balls are still in there.
Eevon, Yuan Ding and yours truly, taken at the eerie corridor
Professional looking huh?
That's all for now, have a nice day! =)

You would never know how an influence you may be to people around you.
I have this bad habit of moving my hands when I talked, especially last year. And Sue-Li who was always with me tend to be influenced with the movements as well. So when you see us both talk, you might laugh. I don't do that much now.
Last year as well, I tend to "Jeng Jeng Jeng" alot, all in a sudden when I drive home from school. It's either that or I'll call out Shi Yan or Sue-Li's name all in a sudden, for no reason. That's the sampat (nonsensical) part of me. And sometimes, I do hear Sue-Li or Shi Yan jeng-ing all in a sudden too. That's what you call influence. It's not a good influence. Ironically, it's not a bad one neither.
I do play the acoustic guitar for children church, youth church as well as Sunday service. Not very good though.
Sometimes after playing for the Children Church, I would stay back to help out at the nursery class when it's my turn. After the teaching session, the children were given materials to colour. There was once, I took out my guitar and started playing the children song and sang. Whole class sang with me and there's this little boy, he would sit still and look at me.
I gave him my guitar pick, let him simply strum as I pressed the chords for him while singing. He was a little shy but he said he's inspired to be a guitarist like me when he grows up. By the way, he's just 5 years old.
The following week, he brought a toy guitar along with him when he came for Children Church. He made his grandma buy him a guitar right after that. He showed me.
Zhu Tong (the little boy) with his toy guitar
He wouldn't allow anyone to touch his toy guitar except me. So I pretended to play with his little guitar. He would sit wherever I sit and go wherever I go. And wherever I lean my guitar against the wall, there he would leave his else well. So cute right?
Kids can be easily influenced. So people, when you have kids at home (cousins, siblings or anyone), be sure that you are of good example. Kids observe and they are easily inspired and influenced =)

The live concert with Juwita Suwito and her team was a blast yesterday! Many people turned up, young and not-so-young.
Harvest Youth with Juwita and team
Her voice was powerful, and her bassist was hawt. LOL
MGS-ians with Juwita
Oh by the way, Juwita was an ex-MGS-ian when she was in Klang for 5 years.
Pardon the sound and motion effect of this short clip. Blame it on mom's 2.0 Mega Pixel mobile phone. It's not clear, the live version isn't like this. Mun Sheung captured this short clip using mom's phone.
It was a great time, I must say. I was so hyped up the entire day that I was knocked-out flat on my bed after dinner till this morning.
XueWen, yours truly and Amelia Lee. I know am old
The Harvest Youth's spirit is baaaaaaaaaack!! =) Things would be different.. I'm quite excited!
That's all for now. Stay tuned for some gross anatomy pictures in the upcoming post.
Enjoy and God bless.

Thank You, Jesus!
I was saying that I was so not prepared for my exam in my previous post and that I'm going to sit for my exam by faith and His grace, right?
I drew some random diagrams as I flipped through my notes
shoulder joint
summarizing the entire long grandma story into a diagram with simple notes along with labellings.
Oh, and I drew this, which was supposed to be the heart
the heart
and I don't know why the outcome somehow looks more like a thanksgiving turkey to me.
I ain't artistic. Or else I wouldn't end up in Science, right? I would fail if I'm in the other field, I ain't good (neither I'm good in science)
Anyway, I proudly showed my thanksgiving turkey drawing to my fellow friends to give them a good laugh. And you wouldn't believe it, this exact thing that I drew in this A4 paper came out as one whole 10 marks question (8.325% of my finals result). I truly could not thank Him enough.
But I guess the thanksgiving turkey I drew in the exam paper was uglier. Nevermind.
---
Met an accident (again?) on the way home from school last night. It was my lane's green light when a Merz dashed out from another road (he thought there isn't car and his traffic was red). My car was badly damaged.
And I survived!
Both airbags came out and saved my heart and lungs. I was sent to the hospital for x-ray and there were no fractured bones. I thank God.
I was practically looking at the x-ray and started naming each every bones there, counting my ribs... identifying mediasternum, clavicle, ribs, intercoastal cartilage...
Oh no! This is what Anatomy does to you when you had exam earlier on, the same day.
The doctor said my chest muscles got compressed and that explains the mild pain and slight difficulty in breathing. I was about to double check with him if it was the Pectoralis Major and Serratus Anterior muscle. Gosh! What in the world?
Anyway, I seriously truly really superbly wanna thank God for my life and my exam
The person in this picture ain't holding a cigarette, it's a stack of Juwita Suwito flyers

Today is The Day!
Started nerding, err, more of procrastinating for tomorrow's major exam today. So not prepared. I couldn't memorize everything, so I just flip through. Gonna sit for that exam by faith and by His grace tomorrow.
---
There's a kid in every person.
Today I got back my SCI 2010 assignment 2, I'm quite satisfied with my marks. But it's not the marks that makes me feel so good.
It is this..
Don't know what is that? Come, let me zoom in for you.
I missed receiving this weyy!
I remember receiving this all the time in kindergarten, primary school and occasionally (very rarely) in secondary school. Ever since I stepped into college, I know I had to bid my goodbye to these words...
until today.. by h.e.r

Faith is fuel
My car's petrol light was already blinking end of last week. I thought it would be okay since I was on holiday and do not really go out. Everytime I go out, I forgot to get money from mom to pump it and whenever I got home, I totally forgot bout the no-petrol-thingy until the following time when I get into the car.
The same thing happened till I was asked to go and pick Mun Wah from the KTM station at Teluk Gadung just now. After picking her, the car slowed down a lot and so I swerved to the side of the road.
"Jie ah, don't press brake edi. Just drive to the nearest petrol station"
*right foot still at the accelerator*
"I didn't brake laa"
The so-near-yet-so-far-petrol kiosk
The car is exhausted, burned out and needed fuel to move on.
And when it was replenished with fuel, the car felt fresh again. The car starts serving again and continue to bless others with transportation.
The same goes to our Christian life. Our life is like the car, we need fuel input.
Christian life without faith is like a car without petrol. It serves no purpose. I'm sure you've heard this many many times. Mun Wah said that statement doesn't sound so real to her till today's incident, where we were so helpless, where the car could move no more.
I thank God for the walking-distance kiosk and not stranded in the middle of the highway or something. So people, start feeding yourself with His words and practice your faith. With the littlest faith you have, when you use it, it will grow bigger. So, keep practising it till it can move a mountain! =)
Be blessed.
