Venue: Overseas Restaurant, Asia Jaya
Date: 19 May (Mom's bday)
We were busy eating in a private function room when dad's client (bro of IOI mall's chairman) spotted us.
Uncle: Your family? Wow. This is your eldest ah? *pointing to Ken*
Dad: Oh, no no. He's my daughter's bf. This is my eldest *pointing to mk*
Uncle: Oh.. She's very small-sized uh?
Dad: She's already in her 4th year uni.
Uncle: University?? Don't bluff la. She looks so small. I thought she's in secondary school at most.
Dad: Really la. My second one already 2nd year uni. This is the youngest *pointing at Sheung*
Uncle: Seriously ah?? *looks at Sheung* This one must be in primary school.
(cough. Yeah, LAST year of primary school. Form one next year, gosh)
Dad: Yeah. So these three la.
Uncle: Very surprising ah. You so big, they so small. Must be your bor (wife) la (yada yada..)
Conversation went on mixed with Hokkien which I don't quite understand. So yeah, that's it.
Got mocked being in secondary school again! Hopefully not because of my IQ or some bodoh look.

Just got back from another friend's wake. Okay, not like my friend has passed on -- her mom. Condolence to you, friend.
It's heartfelt and maybe, shocking?
Like how everybody puts it, life is fragile (and unpredicatable). We won't know what and who's next. It could be me, yes me.
Ehhh, death (and illnesses) doesn't happen to older people only okay though at most times they always happen to adults. They usually come without warning, and common symptoms are usually neglected by us all.
For example, chest pain. It's pretty common. Mun Wah, Kenneth and myself have that quite frequently. Does that mean we all suffer from myocardial infarction (heart attack)?
Talking bout that, we're pretty worried bout dad. Mom said he felt a little heartburn for sometime already and I'm sure most of you do not need to study Medical Science to know that heartburn is one of the symptoms for myocardial infarction. It's in the gene (I think) since both my grandparents died from MI while my uncles all have it.
Anyway, mom's forcing him to have a full body checkup next week. I know he won't bother and as was trying to play doctor on his own but still.. I'm so gonna convince him again though I know he won't listen too.
If only he's like my grandparents..
Talking bout my grandparents, they're so funny la! You actually won't believe it. They actually look highly on me (higher than their medical doctors/specialist). The funniest part is that they'll consult me and only eat their prescribed medicine only AFTER my explanation and after my greenlight. I seriously don't feel the need for that, anyway.. grandparents....
Do keep dad in prayer. And people, eat your greens! (I'm talking to you, Tan Sue-Li! -- FC also! Pity your kids mann =P )
---
Last load of assignment and reports pile. Phew! *pats self on the back*
I can must go full force on revision next week on. If any of you happen to see me on the road or somewhere doing something but not studying next week, do give me a nudge okay. Right, not literally la but yeahh..
Off to nerding mode now. Clinical Chem test tomorrow (later) and I haven't really studied anything. Tsk tsk.. never change.

I get that secondary school thing too >_<
It's kinda odd to pat yourself on your back really, unless you're real flexible :p
Psalm 103:1-5
1. Bless the Lord, oh my soul; and all that is within me bless His holy name!
2. Bless the Lord oh my soul, and forget not His benefits
3. Who forgives all your iniuquity, who HEALS ALL YOUR DISEASES
4. who REDEEMS YOUR LIFE FROM DESTRUCTION, who crowns you with lovingkindness and mercies
5. who satisfies your mouth with good things, SO THAT YOUR YOUTH IS RENEWED LIKE THE EAGLES'.
Isaiah 53:5
But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and BY HIS STRIPES WE ARE HEALED
AMEN! =)
sunbear, mmg pun you small kid! HAHA! Anyway, can pat la.. you try and see!! (I just did). Pat you know, NOT RUB!
princess jolyn, thanks!
Whenever I go down the dining hall for dinner, I will stare at those wonderful peas, brussels sprout and whatnots with a great hint of interest. The interest to gracefully walk away from them. I am a champion.
Geng la you!!
Are they that bad ah? But actually right, I also dislike green peas/beans etc. Leafy ones are alright -- actually it depends on how are they cooked and who cooks them.
