Do you know why M&Ms melt in your mouth and not in your hands?

Actually that's not only true to M&Ms but all (pure) chocolates generally. Only M&Ms applies science to its slogan.

The reason behind it is because chocolates' melting point is 37⁰C. In your hands, the temperature is still below 37⁰C and they will not melt yet unless you grab it in your palm for a while and this causes the heat energy from your body (37⁰C) to be transferred to the chocolates and melt them. So that also explains why sometimes M&Ms do melt in your hands eh
