It has been a long week, program-filled week but I like it :)
---
People come and go. They come in, leave something (like a mark?) behind and then leave us. But life still has to move on, show still needs to on air. Sounds familiar eh?
At the end of the day, what matters most would be, how your life would have impacted others. How you, being the living testimony lives your life and let His light shines through you.
And that's still my ultimate goal in my life but of course I'm far from even achieving the first percent.
---
And oh, guess what? The Gang would be coming out with very own tee!
Our first one. Can't wait :)
Till then, have a good day!

Same old smell, same old feeling.
I went back to Taylor's last week for some stuff. The smell is still there, the familiar smell, the air that I breathe in 2004.
This is my whole class (comprises of humanities and science students), no joke. The brave young warriors who went for NS by faith and then attempted the SAM SHIT (South Australia Matriculation Super High Intensity Training) program
Mrs Mary Ng, the ex-SAM programme director and Mrs Quek, my class teacher still remembers me. She actually pronounced my name correctly even before I introduce myself. And believe me, every school has their own smell, as do Taylor's.
My whole class for Biology with Ms Loke
I know this might sound crazy but I miss the hecticness when I was in there. Good ol' memories as I walked around, walking down the memory lanes just like Mr Lee Kuan Yew.
Around this time last year, I was in Monash nerding.
Pictured around this time in 2007
Yeah, like that.
It might sound weird to say these but I truly enjoyed the whole camping-in-the-library moment and I love them. It was those moments when I felt that I really learned something (and I enjoy studying), made and bonded with friends even more.
I was at Monash for quite a few times this week. Its like as if its my second home there. The familiar faces, the security guard, the librarian and all actually knows me and remembers me. The security's quite strict this semester, I don't know why, and each student is required to show their student ID card to get in. Me being me, always forgot to bring my (old) student card and when the new security guard (he doesnt know me) wanted to stop me to check for card, the older security guards will gesture to him and let me in saying that I'm a student there.
Same old smell, same old feeling.
And I miss The Gang.
And as I was browsing the pictures just now, I finally understand why the rest of them in The Gang always pick on Ah Sian's boobs. Not necessary a bad thing I think?

Family Ties.
Today's one of the rare days where we went for a jog as a family. It was a good sweat out, and of course, the feeling of togetherness.
I decided to give my car a good clean up after jog (I've been wanting to do that for a week already but time just doesnt permit me). My both sisters and I actually bergotong-royong-ed cleaning one car while my parents went out to pack dinner. And as a token of appreciation, I'd buy them Burger King for supper later :) (and oh yes, finally Klang has our first Burger King outlet). At least Mun Wah was of better help by vacuuming and wiping the inside of my car, unlike Mun Sheung who only managed to wash 1/4 of the car's body leaving the other 3/4 for myself -.-
And good news! Finally mom has agreed (and allowed us) to get a keyboard (I'd prefer a digital piano though) when dad has already said yes years back! :) I wonder when we'll really get it but its a good sign for a good start already. Yippee cant wait!
Nicholas will be back next week. Cheok Yeen kor kor is back for good. I can already smell the fun times! Should we have a road trip together please?

From The Above.
A few weeks ago, I was assisting in an event and accidentally came in contact with this guy who I reckon is a doctor. After offering him the sample drink, he made me explain how the thing works and how can patients be benefited by it. With my usual presentation of medical info, light came and he said that he saw the potential right in me and i'm the one that he has been looking for. He straight away offered me a position in his company with almost triple my current pay. He tried persuading me over while my boss was watching from behind. He introduced himself as Colin and took my name card.
Everything sounds very attractive right?
He handed me some brochures and asked me to consider it. His offer is still open for me. Later that day when I went through the management of the company, only then I found out that he's a no ordinary man. For God's sake he's not just Colin or Mr Colin for that matter, but Dato' Dr Colin Lee. Omgosh right? And he's the Managing Director of the company and hospital. Gasp.
Anyway, guess what? I've rejected it.
I believe God's favour has been upon me and doors will be opened at all times. I'm still loyal to my current company :)

And yeap, June '09 that we've been talking about since last year's approaching! It's not an event or a show but the starting point, the turning point for Harvest Youth ministry to a young people's church, Harvest Youth Church.
And oh, did I mention Church? Yeap, we'll no longer be just a ministry or youth group to fit young people in so that they wont waste time elsewhere but we'll be running it like a church, seeing people's life getting impacted and be the salt and light in this city -- the City of Klang.
I believe God will not leave us where we are but He'll bring us to another level as He has been preparing us from yesteryears. I'm very excited bout it, so, do come join us! We're all a bunch of (really) friendly folks

Today I got myself a new pair of jogging shoes!
I'm so loving it (not so much of the design but the feeling when you wear it) and I can't wait to bring it to the tracks!
Thank you, Pharmalink for contributing part of these shoes (my birthday gift from the company)

Heart Speaks.
Yesterday's feeling was a mixed one. Excitement, joy, familiar accents and dialects/languages (and smell, heh!) -- In short, I really miss them, like alot.
I believe sometimes we don't mean what we say, especially when we say we miss someone etc but this time, I really do. The feeling was definitely different and you know, you can just smile all day long in their company and with their (usual lame) jokes along with their crazy gestures.
Yiwei, come back more often so that I have all the excuses to meet up with you all :)
--
On side notes, thank you to all of you who wished me through text messages or facebook or those who brought me out for meals to 'celebrate'. I really appreciate every gesture and thoughtfulness of yours. Xuewen and Amy, you girls never fail to place your birthday wishes on the hall of fame in my heart. Hugs!

These days alot of people have been telling me that Mun Sheung looks so like me, is that true? Well, I still beg to differ.
