If I have to count all my blessings, one of them is my boss.
I mean i've heard so many people complaining bout their bosses and how they're treated etc. In contrary, I'm super thankful that I'm blessed with a real good boss; a boss who stands by my side, supporting me and trusting me all the way.
She's not just a boss but also a friend to us.
She'd listen to us, and help us whenever an issue arises. We'd play hard, we'd laugh loud, we'd party much and we'd work smart and hit all our targets together.
And oh btw, today she offered me a hug too, just to sayang me back. How sweet (:

Quick Updates.
It has been a long week, program-filled week but I like it :)
---
People come and go. They come in, leave something (like a mark?) behind and then leave us. But life still has to move on, show still needs to on air. Sounds familiar eh?
At the end of the day, what matters most would be, how your life would have impacted others. How you, being the living testimony lives your life and let His light shines through you.
And that's still my ultimate goal in my life but of course I'm far from even achieving the first percent.
---
And oh, guess what? The Gang would be coming out with very own tee!
Our first one. Can't wait :)
Till then, have a good day!

From The Above.
A few weeks ago, I was assisting in an event and accidentally came in contact with this guy who I reckon is a doctor. After offering him the sample drink, he made me explain how the thing works and how can patients be benefited by it. With my usual presentation of medical info, light came and he said that he saw the potential right in me and i'm the one that he has been looking for. He straight away offered me a position in his company with almost triple my current pay. He tried persuading me over while my boss was watching from behind. He introduced himself as Colin and took my name card.
Everything sounds very attractive right?
He handed me some brochures and asked me to consider it. His offer is still open for me. Later that day when I went through the management of the company, only then I found out that he's a no ordinary man. For God's sake he's not just Colin or Mr Colin for that matter, but Dato' Dr Colin Lee. Omgosh right? And he's the Managing Director of the company and hospital. Gasp.
Anyway, guess what? I've rejected it.
I believe God's favour has been upon me and doors will be opened at all times. I'm still loyal to my current company :)
----

And yeap, June '09 that we've been talking about since last year's approaching! It's not an event or a show but the starting point, the turning point for Harvest Youth ministry to a young people's church, Harvest Youth Church.
And oh, did I mention Church? Yeap, we'll no longer be just a ministry or youth group to fit young people in so that they wont waste time elsewhere but we'll be running it like a church, seeing people's life getting impacted and be the salt and light in this city -- the City of Klang.
I believe God will not leave us where we are but He'll bring us to another level as He has been preparing us from yesteryears. I'm very excited bout it, so, do come join us! We're all a bunch of (really) friendly folks

Today I got myself a new pair of jogging shoes!

I'm so loving it (not so much of the design but the feeling when you wear it) and I can't wait to bring it to the tracks!
Thank you, Pharmalink for contributing part of these shoes (my birthday gift from the company)

Number-Dunno-What Miracle.
Have you ever tried being blessed with miracles so many times until you lost count of them?
I have.
I forgot to testify this the other day until I shared with Amelia bout it. The other day before I left 1U for Dr E's place (about 20km from the former to the latter), my fuel's sign started blinking. Jing Tien was following from the back and we were late, so I didn't wanna stop to pump anywhere until I reach Dr E's place.
It was about 11pm when we left Dr E's place and the signboard says 14km to Klang and ahh, the fuel's sign is still blinking! I wonder if it can last me home or not. I wasn't sure if it'll stop halfway and I don't wish to stop anywhere near to pump because it'd be so dangerous --- 11 plus at night around Kg Jawa/Sentosa area? A big no no.
So I uttered a short and simple (but powerful) prayer to God.
"Jesus, I need to be home. I know You'll keep me"
Lo and behold, right after that simple prayer, my fuel sign went up 2 bars (I was halfway home already that time) and the car moved as if it has a lot of petrol somemore. The fear of stopping-because-I-run-out-of-fuel was totally gone and I totally forgot bout it until I reached home. The fuel sign started blinking again only when I pressed my electric gate's remote control in front of my house.
At that moment, I believe He'd heard me and He provided :)

A Good Head-Start
Quite a number of you asked me bout my work. Thank you so much for the showed care (at least I know who's with me). Appreciate it alot!
This new phase has been taking me in quite well. Just started two days and haven't really done alot. Never would I expect that this position is not that hard after all (maybe not just yet) but I believe challenges would thrill our lives further, adding in some excitement whilst increasing the adrenaline flow right? Which is a good thing.
So far it's all cool. And I'm liking it :)
On the first day itself, I was to attend a meeting with the Operation Manager of my principle company (the word 'attend meeting' sounds so.......... right? Ahh nevermind). Then lunch with my new friendly colleague (Chris) and we dropped by 2 clinics just to say hello to the doctors and introduced ourselves. And we called it a day! So nice right?
The second day (today), I had to attend a meeting in Sunway (Apex, behind 3K). My boss actually text-ed me the night before if I wanna join her for breakfast before the meeting. I told her what I wanted to eat (pan mee @ 3k there) IF I could wake up earlier and make it there on time. She said no problem and guess what? Breakfast was on her! Blessings! (Note: Btw, she smokes! whoah)
We were done with the meeting quite early and I was asked to decide on where to lunch. Being undecided and with my ajak-ajak ayam attitude (yes, xuewen, yet again!), I unintentionally asked the manager from the Nestle team (who happened to stand next to me when boss made me decide) if she wants to join us for lunch and guess what? She took it seriously and came with us! Haha! So we ended up in Che Go, a korean restaurant in Pyramid.
The food's not bad I'd say and they have this lunch promotion thingy. Each set costs just RM16.90+ which includes a maincourse, 2 side dishes, fruits and ginseng/green tea. Not bad right?
Hot & Spicy Chicken Ramen
Side dishes & fruits
The food was good. The fellowship was good.
Chris (colleague) and Sharon (boss)
And guess who paid the bill?
Yeah, the manager from the Nestle team who I ajak-ajak-ed ayam at! omgosh.

A Brand New Direction.
If you've been following my blog entries like this one, I've mentioned before that we as Christ's ambassadors are all recession-proof!
By God's grace and favour, I've gotten a job offer in one of the MNCs this morning, a foreign-based pharmaceutical company.
---
That time, I was so unprepared for the interview since I thought it was just another just-for-experience interview but nope. God actually said "this is the company" very clearly right after the interview. He spoke!
I also remember very vividly my aimlessness after SPM and after SAM on what course should I pursue next. And I heard Him speaking to me very clearly as well on what should I do next (like what course and where). Its as if the burden in my heart was lifted while peace and joy would fill it once He speaks. Because I know that His hands will be on it and His plans are to prosper us always.
I really don't know what else to say when God prepared everything ahead. I can only stand in awe. He's like so awesome, all I need to do is to trust and obey; believe and receive.
My final exam will be on Feb 10th and I'll be starting work on Feb 16th. How soon eh? But I really wanna thank God for His provision and to testify His goodness and faithfulness in my life.
Ain't writing all these to brag here but I secretly hope that you'll grasp this same faith and know that if Jesus can bless Mun Khea like this, He can too do the same to you when you allow Him to :)

Is It In?

Amanda carried and played with the heaviest racquet but yet every shot she gave was so powerful.
Need I show more?
Today's game's indeed a real good one. Never have had such good game for quite sometime already.
I count it a blessing to be able to play with you (powerful) three. Thanks!

New Hope, New Beginning.
To me, I personally believe that new year represents new hope, new beginning. So, I just wanna encourage all of you to let go whatever you had in the past and strive for what's ahead. Like how Pastor Ryan puts it, burn the bridge behind you as you move forward. Let the past be your past; an experience to mould you and to push you further. Try not to have any "if onlys" seeps into your life, they will not help you in anyway, trust me.
I've known Jesus for 7 years now and I thank God that He has been watching over my life for all these 7 years. Like everyone, I've fallen so many times. I've even given up myself alot of times but it was Him who picks me up everytime and bring my life to another level. He taught me how to love, He taught me how to care, He taught me how to give just like Him when I don't know how to. I believe even till now I'm still not good at doing what I've just mentioned but I believe He's still at work moulding me and transforming me to be more like him each day. Like it or not, you have to be patient with me because God is not finished with me yet. Heh!
I'd also like to take this opportunity to ask for forgiveness if I've offended any of you in any way throughout this year or in the past. Thank you for bearing with all my nonsensical behaviour in anyway. I believe this year is gonna be another year of breakthrough! Amen?
So let's strive forward together and let Him shines in us and through us! =)

Dua Jam Lehh.

Boehringer Ingelheim
Today, I was interviewed for 2 hours in this company! Yes, two hours! Other than my interview with Dr Emily, I don't think anyone else will schedule such a long interview (oh how I miss that interview session with her).
I was first interviewed by the person who I was arranged to be interviewed by (he looks like Kenny Sia! I was so tempted to take out my phone to snap his picture but its quite inappropriate right? So I didn't la) for around 45 minutes and when I'm done, he asked me to wait for a while and he left that meeting room.
Then, he came back and I was asked to meet a higher ranking manager in his office before I proceed to be interviewed again by that higher ranking guy. As scary as it may sound, I thank God that this guy's very friendly and he taught me alot as he shared. He took slightly more than an hour with me before letting me go. I reckon this is a very good experience and I learned alot over here. I really really thank God for this opportunity.
Like said, I'm not waiting to be employed right now; I'm still studying. I just want the experience and of course all the better if they can wait till around March and I'll call it a blessing if they don't mind taking me in.

We're All Recession-Proof!
"As beloved of God, we're all recession-proof"
I like how Pastor Kenneth and Pastor Prince aptly put these; very true indeed!
Just two nights back, I was gatal la, so I went and filled up my details into Jobstreet.com just for fun. I don't even have a resume; all I did was just filling up whatever columns they have there like my personal details, education background, co-curriculum and whatnot. And guess what, the very following morning itself (which was yesterday) companies started calling me up regarding my application.
I told them very frankly that I could not start working yet as I'm still studying. Today another company called me up to arrange an interview with them this coming Monday. I'm not expecting to get the job but I'm quite thrilled bout the interview for the experience sake. So fun la!
As you all know, its a real bad timing to graduate now. Though Asian countries are not very much affected by this, but I bet most companies would try not to take in too many workers. In fact, if they could they'd try to lessen the amount of employees.
But our God is the Jehovah Jireh! He's our source of provision, our provider! Imagine, my expected salary stated in my online resume isn't very low but yet employers are still considering it. So readers, let not be discouraged by the surrounding but be encouraged that He's with us at all times and He's our source of provision! Amen? =)
EDIT: 2 interviews on Monday. Another pharmaceutical company just called up. Gonna be a great time. All glory to Jesus!

Bring Forth The Healing!
I was reading Sera's blog just the other day and something led me to share these with her. If any of you who have been following her blog post, you'll know that she's a chronic gastric patient and she yearned for His healing so that she will suffer no more.
Other than Sera, I know some of you too, could be suffering from some pain, be it physically or emotionally and whatnot. I've already asked her for permission if I could repost whatever I commented in her blog here and I think it'll serve a great reminder for all of us (at least it was for one of my friends who read it).
Here it goes:
Sera, its said in Isaiah 53: 4-5 that by His stripes, you are healed!I bet you've heard all these so many times already but I guess it serves a great reminder that He's still faithful and He's the Healer. Let our faith be reaffirmed in His name.
It didn't say that you are going to be healed but it says you are (already) healed. I believe every stroke that Jesus received on the cross is a sign of complete healing even for your gastric pain. The whole thing is already complete (that's why Jesus said 'It is done!')
So now, just speak to your gastric pain that "By Jesus' stripes, I am healed'. Start thanking Him for your healing. All you need to do now is to believe and receive the healing. Human's nature is to whine and said its impossible, but to God, it is already done. It is up to us if we want to proclaim the healing or not.
Last year, my mom got diagnosed with a tumour in her soft bones, on her face, eating up most of her flesh already and its gonna damage her brain anytime soon if it grows any bigger. Mun Wah and I laid our hands on her, thanked Jesus for the miraculous healing (even before the biopsy test) and we believe that mom is already healed. True enough, during the biopsy test, the surgeon accidentally took out the entire thing without causing any damage to mom's face etc and she's totally healed.
And just two months ago, one of my church uncle got diagnosed with brain cancer. The youth thanked God for the healing and proclaimed His healing. Today, he's totally healed from that brain cancer. Amazing isn't it?
Now, do you think our Daddy who loves us so much, would He not hear your cry for your gastric and your sufferings? If He could, He'd say, "Sera, my Son has already bore all these for you. Just proclaim and believe, my daughter and you're already healed. Don't let the devil put thoughts in your mind. You do not need to do good to get all these, because my Son has already redeemed you. And that's what we call grace."
Now let me pray for you:
"Father in heaven, I just wanna thank You for the miraculous healing on this reader's body right now. I thank You, Jesus for Your complete work on the cross. I know, by Your stripes, this person is already healed. I want to thank You once again and proclaim all these in Jesus' name, amen"

He Is The Same God.
He didn't do that so that people would think that He's so good, but He is good. He did that out of love for us all, so that we all can be co-heir with Him, so that we can enjoy all the privileges to be His sons and daughters, and so that we can have eternal life.
You know, sometimes it got me thinking if I deserve all these favour.
For example, 2 weeks ago, I proclaimed and declared that God will cause my brain to absorb like sponge. True enough, it happened! Like, I finished 30 lecture notes of Food Science in ONE day. Isn't that amazing?
I was supposed to go through these notes again for memory purposes, since Dr Siow said it's gonna be really really really tough and she thinks that I may not be able to make through? I felt really really discouraged walking out from her office. What add on was that I was terribly sick yesterday and I had Medical Micro paper that day. At night when I was better, I only managed to finish 5 lectures out of 30 lectures.
The next day, into the exam hall I walked with a smile knowing that He's with me and His favour is with me. It was awesome how God placed that peace in me. I prayed for 2 familiar essay questions and must be from the 5 lectures that I have, and I silently expect for just a pass with these amount of revision I have.
I ended up had ALL the questions (minus one short answer question) answered with my sponge-brain-memory in less than 2 hours (exam time given was 3 hours). Without Him, I couldn't have done that. He never fails to amaze me.
Now, the same God who loves me so much and calls me His beloved is the same God who is walking with you right now and if He could (without scaring you), He wants to tell you in audible voice that He loves you =)
Nothing is impossible for Him, really.

Blessings 2X!
I used to quite like the song Unwell by Matchbox 20 and I totally forgotten bout it until Jo Kien's previous comment.
Then just that day when I was replying Hui Jin's text, it went like this:
Jin: U crazy dee.. it's not mine and nothing great of seeing him la. k then I see u tmr, wanna memorize.. haha..
mk: I'm not crazy but just a lil' unwell. haha. kla text me after your exam. will be there. ALL THE BEST DUDE! =) night
And you know what, the next day she thought I was really unwell and she almost brought those soluble Vitamins for me. I know it was my bad (miscommunication) but suddenly that lyric line just came to me lar, what to do? And not like I'm really unwell-unwell but its still so sweet of her right? Blessings.
---
And today, after 1 1/2 years of owning my current phone, I finally found the silent mode to my phone. I mean, I can't find the silent mode thingy and I do not know how to put it to silent mode before this!
But now I can =) Many thanks to Amelia, the hero-in!

I'm worried for not being worry for my exams.
Despite having to study alone today in the library, it was not that bad after all, eventhough my progress was a little too slow.
Hui Jin's sweet enough to check on me with her occasional text messages.
And as usual crazy fellowship time with Dr E's always awesome and time really flies when we're enjoying ourselves. Thanks for spending your precious time despite the amount of work you have, and the iced mocha! I'm truly truly thankful for you, thank you! Haha, I just felt the need to journal these down as I journey on.
You know what, I'm worried for not being worry for my exams. Dr E thinks I'm crazy. Well, maybe she's right =)

=)
Yesterday was awesome.
If not for you, I don't think I'll even have my lunch. Thank you.
And you know what, sometimes I feel like I've known you for a long time. Like some crazy friends who would do anything with you --- the laughs, the gossips, ahh.. Girls will always be girls, right? I truly enjoy every moment.
And the photos, omgosh! But I feel really really feel honoured and blessed. Thanks!

No, it's not school holiday yet.
Nevertheless, I'm very excited about this whole backpacking idea now.
Imagine I'm gonna carry these to school and attend two lectures and a tutorial before Joeanne (thanks dear!) drop me off at the nearest LRT station after Immuno lecture.
We haven't gotten our accommodation yet, or the itinerary. We only have bus tickets (thanks, Mei Xian!). Worry? Not abit! I believe You will lead us to the right place, to a safe and clean budgeted backpackers place. I just wanna thank You.
To think about being independent, to think about those places that I'm planning to visit, to think about meeting up some old (and not so old) friends --- I just can't wait!
Just a short getaway, but I get it's gonna be real cool. Leaving in less than 12 hours from now.
Woooott! Oh well, I should be asleep by now.

What's New?
Today, Dr Siow shot a question during Food Science lecture. I answered her. She then asked me to repeat my last sentence (guess the keyword that she wanted was there).
Whole class kept quiet, waiting for my answer in anticipation. I looked at Dr Siow and said, "I forgot what I've just said"
Whole class laughed out loud.
Clown of the day, again. Looks like this happens only in her lecture and this isn't the first time =/
----
Here comes the second part of my silliness for the day.
I misplaced my car key (+ house key). Or rather, I left it in the library when I saved stuffs from the student drive this morning (my thumbdrive is connected to my car key) and I forgot to unplug the thumbdrive from the USB port.
I went to the library's lost and found area but it wasn't there. I went to check on my car -- phew, it's safe. Told the security guard to keep an eye on my car while I went to lodge a report. I prayed as I went around. The funny part is that, I wasn't panic! You can ask Joeanne. She met me on the way and I told her I lost my keys with smiles on my face. I believe no one will take it because those keys were also covered with the blood of Jesus (not literally). I kept thanking Him as I made my way around and guess what, I found it! =)
All glory to Him! =)

FROG.
Attended a briefing in PWTC yesterday afternoon.
I took LRT up and I must say this, I'm rather impressed by the LRT system here (Joy, I take back my words for disliking the public transport here. At least LRT is still bearable. NOT KTM for sure!). I passed 14 stations and changed train twice but the entire journey only took me 45 minutes (inclusive of waiting time). This is really cool.
Jesus again never failed to amaze me. His favour was very obvious upon my life.
There was no parking spaces at the Kelana Jaya LRT station and I can see so many cars went rounding so many times for a carpark. I don't mind parking really far away and I even contemplated in parking at illegal parkings (outside houses without those proper parking box lines) but something prompted me strongly not to. After two rounds of rounding with the rest of the cars (one way street), I finally gave up doing it with my own strength.
I prayed, "Jesus, I know there's nothing too small for you. I need a parking space right now and I know You'll provide me one. Thank You in advance! Amen"
That time I told myself to chill and just believe that He'll provide. So, I took another round and just DIRECTLY IN FRONT of the train station (the spot nearest to the station) BOTH cars on my left and right came out just before me. He doesn't only provide, He always give me more than enough you see! I can even choose to park at the left side or the right side of that one way street just right in front of the station. How cool right? Shaded parking somemore! He's sooo awesome!
Basically now, I'm taking up this part time job offered for Monash student just for a weekend. The wages agreed was RM 150 for 3 days. That day, I was to go and meet the manager of the company. He explained abit bout the programme and asked me if I have any questions. With some courage (and hope), I double verify if the pay will only be RM 150 (RM 50 per day) and does it include meals or not. I told him that RM 50 is rather low. The manager said he was not the one dealing with salary thingy and he has no idea. His favour was really upon us when we spoke nicely to the manager and our pay was raised from RM 150 to RM 350. That's like, slightly more than double? Awesome right?!
Next, I got lost on the way back because of that one way street. I have no idea where I was, there was no signboards to any highways, only housing area names. Again, I prayed. I told Him that I believe in Him and that He'll guide me back to Klang to attend the youth service. His Holy Spirit will just prompt me on where I should turn -- left, right or just go straight. I wasn't panic at all and actually felt the peace in me. I just follow as He prompts. I drove by faith and towards the end of the road, its a one way street and the only turning was to the toll. What if that highway after the toll leads me to JB or something? I have no choice but to drive on (only one way). I obeyed, and I saw Klang's signboard right after that.
It's basically telling us that when we say we want to rely on God, we must FULLY rely on Him and not only when we feel like it. We cant rely on the Spirit and the flesh (our own intuition) at the same time. We can only choose one, and am glad that I chose the right path for that day. I reached church in 15 mins (using NKVE).
FROG = Fully Rely On God
1 Peter 5:7 "Throw all your worry on him, because He cares for you." Amen?
